Project: Course management system
Project Description: Lead developer for large scale J2EE/WebSphere project to build a Course Management system. I worked with Struts as the Web-container framework. Use Servlet, WebSphere, JSPs, Custom Tags, XML, XSL, Tiles framework, Struts, Beans form and UML. As Java developer, I assisted in evaluating current in-house MVC framework and providing examples and feedback on how to migrate to a standardized Struts environment.

Responsibilities:

Responsible for object-orientated analysis/object-orientated design of current systems.

Used UML to develop requirements and architect a solution. Led new design and architecture efforts for internationalization of the U.S. application for future flexibility and expandability.

Worked with Struts front-end utilizing the tiles framework to implement the GUI interface.

The Struts framework was also augmented using both the validator and tiles add-on components. Also, performed the Struts version analysis.

Developed Struts examples and proof of concepts that were used by the developers to learn how to use the Struts framework.

Supported integration efforts between the Struts Action classes and the Beans form layer.

Designed and Developed a Time Management Sheet for our company. It was a distributed application and many people can concurrently access the application with high performance. It was used by our
company to assess the employee’s performance. Employees can login and record their work done and the project managers can allocate the work to their sub ordinates.

Worked as a developer in the enhancement project of our BI tool. The BI tool had various versions
